Marc Marquez

Born in Cervera, Spain on February 17, 1993 the Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer has been enjoying fame and glory as he won many titles in his name. Marc Marquez started his career at an early age and has won his first championship title in the 125cc 2008 Portuguese Grand Prix last April 13, 2008 when he was only 15 years old. Marc Marquez got his first podium at the British Grand Prix on June 22, 2008. In 2009, Marc was a factory KTM rider where he got his first pole position in the French Grand Prix.

After getting injured in the Spanish Grand Prix in 2010, He won a series of races. Marc Marquez became the youngest rider to win four consecutive races. Marc Marquez is also one of the four riders who won championship titles in three categories: the 2010 125cc World Championship, the 2012 Moto2 World Championship and the 2013 MotoGP World Championship. The other three riders are: Mike Hailwood, Phil Read and Valentino Rossi.

Marc Marquez is all out with his Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa during the 2014 MotoGp World Championship Race held earlier this month. Marc left everybody breathless with his breathtaking moves during the race.

2014 is another year for Marquez’ soaring career. MotoGP World Champion Marc and team mate Dani Pedrosa just gave another history in the racing world. Marquez won the MotoGP round at Indianapolis and has gotten 10straight wins in Spain since the start of the season.

Marquez fans/ followers were all amazed by his performance and this does not leave 1993 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz who was really amazed and impressed by Marquez extraordinary performance. Kevin was quoted saying that “Marquez’ is a classic example of what a great rider does compare to a good rider”.
